CTET Aspirant Found Dead in Saharsa, Police Begin Investigation

The landlord said they tried to unlock his mobile phone and contact his friend. After several attempts, his friend responded and informed that he was not at home. Following this, the matter was reported to the police through the emergency number 112.




Saharsa: A tragic incident has come to light from Sant Nagar Ward No. 4 in Saharsa, where a 27-year-old CTET aspirant was found dead under suspicious circumstances in his rented room. The deceased has been identified as Sushil Kumar, a resident of Triveniganj in Supaul district.

According to information, Sushil Kumar had been living in Saharsa for the last three months and was preparing for the CTET examination. He was staying as a tenant at the house of Roshan Kumar Yadav in Sant Nagar and was focused on his studies.



The incident came to light when a nearby resident informed the landlord that Sushil was lying unconscious inside his room and was not responding despite repeated attempts to wake him. The landlord and others immediately reached the spot and tried to revive him by giving water, but there was no movement. When they touched his body, it felt cold, raising suspicion about his condition.

Sadar SDPO Alok Kumar said that around 10:30 PM, information was received about a youth found dead in Sant Nagar. Police officials reached the spot and verified the information. During the investigation, the deceased was identified as Sushil Kumar, son of Hardev Yadav, a resident of Mirzapur, Triveniganj, Supaul.

The SDPO said that the FSL team has also collected evidence from the spot. The body has been sent for post-mortem examination, and the exact cause of death will be known after the report arrives. Police are currently investigating all possible angles related to the incident.
