STORY : रूपा कुमारी: पढ़ाई और कला के बीच संतुलन साधती एक युवा कलाकार

पटना, बिहार – आज के समय में जब युवा अपनी पढ़ाई, करियर और जुनून के बीच संतुलन बनाने की कोशिश कर रहे हैं, वहीं रूपा कुमारी की कहानी प्रेरणा देने वाली है। 30 अक्टूबर 2002 को जन्मी रूपा मूल रूप से बरदाहा (मधेपुरा) की रहने वाली हैं और वर्तमान में पटना में रहती हैं।

रूपा ने बी.कॉम की पढ़ाई पूरी की है और फिलहाल चंडीगढ़ यूनिवर्सिटी से फाइन आर्ट्स का डिस्टेंस कोर्स कर रही हैं। इसके साथ ही वह चार्टर्ड अकाउंटेंसी कोर्स की तैयारी भी कर रही हैं। उनकी कला यात्रा में उनका मार्गदर्शन उनकी मेंटोर मीनाक्षी दास कर रही हैं।

कला की शुरुआत

रूपा को बचपन से ही चित्रकला में गहरी रुचि थी, लेकिन उनकी वास्तविक कला यात्रा की शुरुआत 2018 में मैट्रिक की परीक्षा के बाद हुई। दसवीं की पढ़ाई खत्म करने के बाद उन्होंने पूरी एकाग्रता के साथ पेंटिंग पर ध्यान देना शुरू किया। कुछ ही समय में उनके काम को पहचान मिलने लगी।

देश–विदेश से पेंटिंग के ऑर्डर मिलने लगे, सोशल मीडिया पर भी लोगों ने उनकी कला की खूब सराहना की। इस सकारात्मक माहौल ने उन्हें आगे बढ़ने की प्रेरणा दी और तभी से उन्होंने कभी पीछे मुड़कर नहीं देखा।

पेशेवर सफर और शिक्षण कार्य

आज रूपा पटना के निनाद इंस्टिट्यूट में बतौर पेंटिंग टीचर काम कर रही हैं, जो एक प्रतिष्ठित कला संस्थान है। इसके अलावा वह कस्टमाइज्ड पेंटिंग भी बनाती हैं—मतलब क्लाइंट की पसंद के अनुसार हर तरह की कलाकृति तैयार करती हैं।

रूपा की खासियत 3D और हाइपर–रियलिस्टिक पेंटिंग्स में है। उन्हें किसी भी वस्तु या व्यक्ति को हूबहू यथार्थवादी रूप में उतारना बेहद पसंद है। वे वॉटरकलर, एक्रेलिक, ऑयल पेंटिंग, कलर पेंसिल समेत लगभग हर माध्यम में काम करती हैं।

सबसे खास बात यह है कि वे किसी भी इंसान का पोर्ट्रेट सिर्फ 5 मिनट में बना सकती हैं, जो उन्हें औरों से अलग पहचान देता है।

उपलब्धियाँ और सम्मान

रूपा ने अपने कला जीवन में कई उपलब्धियाँ हासिल की हैं। अपने कॉलेज में उन्होंने कई बार चित्रकला प्रतियोगिताओं में प्रथम स्थान प्राप्त किया। उन्होंने ऑनलाइन प्रतियोगिताओं में भी भाग लिया और कई स्थानों पर उनकी पेंटिंग्स की प्रदर्शनियाँ (Exhibitions) आयोजित हुईं।

साल 2020 में उन्होंने नेशनल एग्ज़िबिशन में भाग लिया, जो उनके करियर का अहम पड़ाव रहा। इसके अलावा उन्हें कई बार महिला दिवस के अवसर पर सम्मानित किया गया।

आज की तारीख में रूपा पटना में 200 से अधिक बच्चों को पेंटिंग सिखा चुकी हैं, जो उनकी मेहनत और समर्पण को दर्शाता है।

रूपा के लिए पेंटिंग केवल एक शौक या पेशा नहीं, बल्कि उनकी पहचान है। वे कहती हैं, “मेरी पेंटिंग ने मुझे सब कुछ दिया है। आज मैं जो भी हूं, सिर्फ अपनी कला की वजह से हूं। इसने मुझे आत्मनिर्भर बनाया और एक नई पहचान दी।”

हालांकि वे पढ़ाई भी जारी रखे हुए हैं, लेकिन उनका कहना है कि 2019 से ही पेंटिंग उनका करियर बन चुका था और तब से लगातार वे इसी क्षेत्र में सक्रिय हैं।

रूपा का लक्ष्य आगे भी कला के क्षेत्र में और उपलब्धियाँ हासिल करना है। वे चाहती हैं कि उनकी पेंटिंग्स और ज्यादा लोगों तक पहुँचें और भविष्य में वे और एक्ज़िबिशन्स आयोजित करें।

उनकी मेहनत और प्रतिभा न सिर्फ उन्हें सफलता की ओर ले जा रही है, बल्कि नए कलाकारों और छात्रों को भी प्रेरित कर रही है।
