Patna Students Protest Latest Update: Student protests intensified in Patna as a large number of students marched towards JP Golambar. Police had placed barricades to stop the protesters from moving ahead.
Some protesters attempted to climb the barricades and move towards Dak Bungalow. The students had earlier announced a programme to march towards the Chief Minister's residence over their pending demands.
Student leaders had also held discussions with Education Department officials on Monday. Although officials reportedly assured action on some demands, student leaders decided to continue with the protest.
